Hun Sen’s Successor: Sam Rainsy or Sar Kheng?

Hun Sen has issued a stern warning: while he is charge, no coup d’état will ever happen, let alone succeed. He may or may not be right. There are two possible sources of a coup: Sam Rainsy revolt or a CPP insider.

The revolt is unlikely, despite a cacophony surrounding Sam Rainsy’s talk of going home. First, he is risk-averse, incapable of capitalising on what usually arises from jailed and/or dead heroes. He claims dead heroes like Kem Ley, cannot help liberating people from dictatorship. He says jailed Kem Sokha cannot and does not influence international opinions or actions.

Obviously, he trivialises impacts of jailed or dead heroes, like Gandhi, Mandela, Luther King, Aquino, etc… that initiate turning points in the world. He fails to fully appreciate why the US and EU currently put pressures on Hun Sen. Then again, for each dead or jailed hero in human history, there are thousands of politicians who are nothing more than just political irritations to their nemesis.

Second, Sam Rainsy still speaks of peaceful means when opposing a mafia-like Hun Sen whose ruthless killing is legendary. He may forget his previous humiliating encounters with Hun Sen when offering his written apologies to his nemesis in exchange for Hun Sen’s peace and mercy.

Sam Rainsy says he is waiting for a right moment to return.

Perhaps, after a CPP implosion that has tormented Hun Sen.

CPP’s Sar Kheng has already opened fires. First, he claims all the CPP victories have not been achieved by any single extraordinary person; they have come from a collective effort of the whole CPP leadership. Sar Kheng must be disgusted with the recently inaugurated Win-Win Monument that glorifies only Hun Sen. He demands the local media refer to the Royal Government of Cambodia, not “Hun Sen” government.

Second, Sar Kheng, who controls the police force, takes a firm stance against military groups that commit violent crackdowns on victims of land disputes in Preah Sihanouk and Kratie provinces. Even though he knows the military is under a full control of Hun Sen’s son and his close cohorts, Sar Kheng pulls no punches when declaring that powerful people cannot use armed forces to serve court orders. He is adamant they cannot rely on their guns, not now, not in the future. He has drawn a line in the sand.

A bad omen for Hun Sen is that Ministry of National Defence spokesman Chhum Socheat comes out to support Sar Kheng’s position. This should not, however, surprise Hun Sen as he knows Sar Kheng is well-connected. A secret ballot Hun Sen conducts in early January reveals the almost 1,000 members of the CPP Central Committee prefer Sar Kheng, not Hun Manet, as their next premier.

Anyhow, while it is uncertain who will be left standing after a duel of the CPP titans, the risk averse Sam Rainsy will miss out. A new Sar Kheng government would be unlikely to welcome him home and his role. He may remain a political outcast.

Fake News You Can Use

After his trip to China, Hun Sen agrees to sit down with Pseng-Pseng Frank Chat.

FC:    According to you, Sire, your recent trip to China is very successful. Congratulations.
HS:   Yes, I rake in the Chinese yuan by the billion, and Xi’s special assurance that China will remain behind me all the way to fight the EU and US nonsensical trade pressures on me.

FC:    How did you convince China to do so much for you?
HS:   I reported to Xi, among other issues, the political situations in Cambodia after the general elections, government reform programs, my determination to prevent external interference into Cambodia’s internal affairs, and my request for more Chinese investors in Cambodia.

FC:    Did President Xi report to you internal political situations in China and his government programs for China?
HS:   No, he didn’t. Why should he? You must know China is a sovereign State adhering to a principle that it allows no foreigners, including me, to meddle in its internal affairs.

FC:    But why do you report Cambodian problems to China if, like you say, Cambodia is a sovereign state?
HS:   Well, you need to put out your dirty linen for your benefactor to see that you really need their assistance and what they can do to help.

FC:    So, when you ask foreigners for help sort out Cambodian internal affairs it is not an interference; otherwise, they are meddling. Is that right?
HS:   Yes, just like when I asked Vietnam to come in. It is a quintessence of my win-win policy – Vietnam wins, and I win.

FC:    Is it true that the CPP Central Committee choose Sar Kheng, not your son Manet, to succeed you?
HS:   Yes, but you know only my opinion counts.

FC:    Sorry, Sire, I must run now. I can hear something ticking…

Woahahaha...everyone blasted Sam Rainsy for inciting people to revolt against Hun Sen, for mass shooting and bloodshed ahead of his return. It's cruel to try to use the innocent as the meat shield.

All major international media also quoted Sam Rainsy's call to the Cambodian Royal Armed forces to disobey Hun Sen as a incitement for civil war, futile but still an indication of Sam Rainsy's violent mentality. The world is sick and tired of many on-going bloody civil wars happening right now, and yet Sam Rainsy is asking the Cambodian army to revolt and have a civil war.

Sam Rainsy is a coward with a violent and blood thirsty mentality, asking others to do the fighting, dying for him, and yet he is such a coward, nobody will listen to him.

HS: Yes, just like when I asked Vietnam to come in. It is a quintessence of my win-win policy – Vietnam wins, and Cambodian people were saved. When I don't ask for help, and foreigners force you to accept their "help", that's interference.
DG: Is it true that the CPP Central Committee choose Sar Kheng, not your son Manet, to succeed you?
HS: That's fake news from Peng Seng. But we all know that my son Manet is the most qualified person to succeed me. He graduated from West Point, trained by US army. Then he earned a PhD in Economics, trained by the Brits. He defeated the Thais in many border battles. Most others would pee in the pants at the sound of the artillery explosions.
DG: Thank you, Sire, I appreciate your time. May your son Manet succeed you in a smooth transition without any external interference. It has been a long time Khmer history to have delusional losers who scammed the people with foreigners' help to usurp the throne. They would promise the foreigners land or future mining rights for the help. I think you and your son will put an end to all of this.

Sam Rainsy has been playing this tricks of splitting Sar Keng and Hun Sen with cheap words. Sar Keng will have no choice but to go after Sam Rainsy's butt to prove loyalty o Hun Sen.

Hun Sen split Kem Sokha and Sam Rainsy with money. He told Kem Sokha that he paid the whole CNRP 55 million USD (through Sam Rainsy) for them to join the National Assembly in 2014. And showed the video clips, receipts and recorded acknowledgement from Sam Rainsy.

But in private, he told Sam Rainsy that he will tell everyone a smaller amount so that Sam Rainsy can pocket the difference. Sam Rainsy got greedy and pocked about 10 million USD or so. When Kem Sokha and his faction got a much lower pay-out, he got mad at Sam Rainsy.

The lesson here: Don't use cheap words. Use money. I advise Sam Rainsy to start raising money, a budget to buy off Sar Keng. Start drumming up your supporters. LOL... Don't be cheap.

Scam Rainsy is a small little mad dog, a neurotic Chihuahua attacking everyone around him with barking and a little nipping.

_ He was suing Chevron for hiding the video clip showing the real killer who killed Kem Ley, not the scape-goat the police found. Of course, Sam Rainsy hired the killer to kill Kem Ley. Part of the deal was the killer made some damning statement to implicate Hun Sen before escaping. But the police wanted to protect Hun Sen, so they confiscate the video then put in a scape-goat. They ordered Chevron not to reveal the real footage. Scam Rainsy's plan was foiled by the quick thinking Cambodian police.

_ He sued Facebook for propping Hun Sen with fake likes. Scam Rainsy paid the Indians and Philippines rouge operations to robot spoof accounts then increase the likes to Hun Sen. Then he turned around and sued Facebook for propping up Hun Sen. Facebook knew this so they did not cooperate with Scam Rainsy. LOL. He wasted tens of thousands dollars over this operation.

_ He threatened to sue Obama for illegally visiting Cambodia, propping up Hun Sen and the sham election in 2013 but Obama did not care. So...no lawsuit happened.

_ Now Scam Rainsy issue a warning to China and the Chinese about the backlash from the Cambodian people. He is waiting for China to pay homage to him so that he can control the backlash. LOL....

_ Scam Rainsy repeatedly try to scare Hun Sen, "EU will impose sanction on you and only I can ask them to lift the sanction off..." LOL...

(This has been a fake news for the fake supporters of Scam Rainsy. LOL... I bet some of them are so stupid, they might believe it.)

The bet was a trap which Sam Rainsy set up to expose Hun Cent's control of the court. Only the stupid people would expect Sam Rainsy to honor the bet.

Why would Sam Rainsy want to honor the bet when it's certain death for him if he comes back to Cambodia. Only he can rescue Cambodia and Hun Cent knew this, not Kem Sokha, not anybody else.

Hun Cent is very afraid of Sam Rainsy and that's why he wants him dead. But the stupid people have always failed Sam Rainsy. They are now all cowards, dare not rise up against Hun Cent.

Therefore, they don't deserve Sam Rainsy as the truth leader, instead they will endure Hun Cent's dictatorship. And after that, they will endure Hun Cent's son who is a fake. USA gave him a fake degree from West Point. Britain awarded him a fake PhD in Economics.

Sam Rainsy is the smartest of all. When he dies, nobody else can rescue Cambodia from tyranny. So, I suggest, you all quit giving Hun Cent and his son troubles once Sam Rainsy passes away. Do not trust anyone else after Sam Rainsy, only he can truly rescue Cambodia.

I doubt the favorable time will ever come for Sam Rainsy anytime soon, unless the horse grows horns.

Eng Chhai Eang is Kem Sokha's supporter. He asked stupid, useless questions mocking Sam Rainsy. That's why he was kicked out CNRP's meeting. Only loyal supporters are allowed. Nobody is allowed to insult his excellency Sam Rainsy, who is the only one who can rescue Cambodia.

And do not expect Sam Rainsy to give back the presidency of CNRP. Kem Sokha has betrayed CNRP and coopertate with Hun Cent. Only Kem Sokha has no ball and dares not do anything else other than Hun Cent's orders and commands. Only the true voice of the mighty Sam Rainsy can scare Hun Cent.

Just wait and see, horse will grow horns, pigs will fly, and Sam Rainsy grows big balls, huge ones when he returns to Cambodia. LOL... Then Hun Cent will beg for mercy. None shall be given as Sam Rainsy will give justice to all, but not Hun Cent.

    Begin of Drgunzet's comment:

Among the 118 ex-CNRP lawmakers, many of them are Kem Sokha's supporters; some said 60 strong. They are holding out from asking to be pardoned and rejoin practicing politics. They are bargaining with Hun Sen for a favorable term for their boss Kem Sokha still under trial for treason.

Hun Sen wants them to apply for pardon and rejoin politics to split CNRP as he knows Sam Rainsy and his supporters will not. So, Hun Sen has to make to deal with Kem Sokha's supporters. And that's how you would negotiate by offering what the other people want.

I in the near future (after March 3rd), Kem Sokha will be found not guilty, and/or get a royal pardon, and his supporters will rejoin politics. CNRP's ban will be lifted and Kem Sokha and his supporters will be the legit CNRP.

Sam Rainsy and his supporters will be isolated and start attacking Kem Sokha and his supporters. Hun Sen will step in and protect Democracy by stomping down any attack from Sam Rainsy. That's his win-win move.

Sam Rainsy is too stupid to deal with such a smart and seasoned leader as Hun Sen. Even I would not know how to deal with him, I could only barely understand what's going on.

Honestly, I think Cambodia is much better off under Hun Sen than Sam Rainsy. Sam Rainsy has offended so many International Bodies such that only a fool would want to associate with Sam Rainsy.

Sam Rainsy claimed that he barely forgave Obama for illegally visiting Cambodia to legitimize the illegal Hun Sen's regime with the stolen 2013-election in Cambodia. He also claimed that President Trump has not asked for permission to visit Cambodia yet and he will not grant one.

USA should consider to be lucky not to be sued by Sam Rainsy for illegally propping up Hun Sen. USA may redeem itself by support Sam Rainsy with a change in regime in Cambodia, then allows the people to the a true leader such as Sam Rainsy.

Only Sam Rainsy can rescue Cambodia. Kem Sokha's daughters were livid with such notion and both have been viciously attacking Sam Rainsy. They shall be disowned by the Cambodian people once Sam Rainsy becomes the rightful leader of Cambodia.

Guaido, you are lucky. Your dictator only threatens to imprison you. Unlike, Hun Sen, the one-eye dictator, Sam Rainsy knows he would kill because Sam Rainsy is special and Hun Sen is afraid of Sam Rainsy.

Guaido, if you actually return to Venezuela, you will make Sam Rainsy looking bad. May I suggest you to return to Venezuela when the situation is more favorable. You should learn from Sam Rainsy.

OMG, Hun Sen is lying again. He approved two new airports, one at Siem Reap and a new one South of Phnom Penh. Each new airport cost 1 to 1.5 billion USD. The current airports are just fine. Just do an inexpensive expanse to meet the new need.

Should the 2.5 billion US dollars be used to build factories and jobs for the poors?

    http://en.freshnewsasia.com/index.php/en/localnews/13090-2019-02-22-06-46-48.html

The Ministry of Justice issued a statement on 11 November 2018 to clarify Sam Rainsy’s statement on Kem Sokha’s release. The ministry has considered Rainsy lacks of judicial understanding.

The Ministry would like to inform as follows:

    (1) The accused Kem Sokha was allegedly charged with conspiring with foreigners, a violation of Cambodian criminal code, which is subjected to 15-30 years imprisonment.

    (2) Kem Sokha was temporarily detained on 5 September 2017, and was released on bail and put under judicial control on 9 September 2018. According to the criminal procedure of the Kingdom of Cambodia, the detention ordered by investigating judge on criminal offense can last up to six months and can be extended to another six months twice. The fact that Sam Rainsy stated the pre-trail detention will end no later than 3 March 2019 is a claim lacks of legal understanding and court procedures. Sam Rainsy should know that Kem Sokha was put under judicial control and that it is not under the framework of pre-trial detention which lasts up to 18 months maximum. The fact that Sam Rainsy stated the pre-trial detention in France can be no longer than two days is a “lie”; a convict Sam Rainsy who has French nationality does not even know the French law.
    ----------------------------
Wow, the idiot, Scam Rainsy made a stupid bet without knowing the law, then realizing he made a mistake, lied, falsely accused other to back out of a bet. Such a dishonorable act.

His excellency and highness Sam Rainsy made the bet to trap the evil Hun Sen. Anyone stupid enough to expect him to honor the bet must be really stupid and a supporter of Hun Sen.

Sam Rainsy is always right, even when he appears to be wrong. That is, he only pretends to be wrong for a bigger purpose, in this case, a bet to trap Hun Sen (to show the evil one-eyed dictator is controlling the court.)

Remember this, only Sam Rainsy can rescue Cambodia, not Kem Sokha, not Kem Ley. Those who betrays him will be killed, or jailed by Hun Sen.

When asked about the claim, "99 percent former CNRP MPs will not seek pardon to lift the ban", Sam Rainsy claimed it was good math, "Both father and son count only as 1, so 1 divided by 118 is still less than 1 percent."

Could not prove he is stupid, couldn't we? When asked about last week third person pardoned, granted a lift on the ban, Sim Sovanny, Sam Rainsy claimed that Sim Sovanny has been under duress so that did not count, "If he [Sim Sovanny] did not request for a pardon, Hun Sen would have him killed. Only coward would be scared of such stupid threat. Hun Sen would only kill me, and nobody else because he is very afraid of me. Only I can topple him, only I can rescue Cambodia."

Read what I wrote: As it turned out, there were only about 10,000 Vietnamese living on Tonle Sap. You are a kdor.

I do not know the total in Cambodia, but the Christian group (for Catholic missionary estimate 150,000 Vietnamese in Cambodia.) Do not get confused with the Cambodians who pretend to be other races, Chinese, Vietnamese if they can. They even try to whiten their skins. There are a lot of dermatology shops in Phnom Penh offering lightening skin service
