សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិកថ្កោលទោសអំពើហិង្សានៅកម្ពុជា


ក្រសួងការបរទេសសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិកបានថ្កោលទោសចំពោះអំពើហិង្សានៅក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជាដែលបានបណ្តាលឱ្យពលរដ្ឋកម្ពុជាយ៉ាងហោចណាស់បួននាក់ស្លាប់បាត់បង់ជីវិតកាលពីថ្ងៃសុក្រនៅក្នុងអំពើហិង្សាមួយដែលកើតឡើងជាលើកទីមួយចាប់តាំងពីការបង្រ្កាបយ៉ាងឃោរឃៅតាំងពីឆ្នាំ១៩៩៨។

លោកស្រី ម៉ារី ហាហ្វ (Mari Harf) អ្នកនាំពាក្យរងនៃក្រសួងការបរទេសសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិកបានបញ្ជាក់នៅក្នុងសនិ្នសីទសារព័ត៌មាននៅថ្ងៃសុក្រថា៖ «សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិកមានការសោកស្តាយយ៉ាងខ្លាំងចំពោះការបាត់បង់ជីវិតមនុស្សនៅក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជាក្នុងអំឡុងពេលការប្រយុទ្ធគ្នាដោយហិង្សារវាងបាតុករនិងកងកម្លាំងសន្តិសុខរបស់រដ្ឋាភិបាល។ យើងថ្កោលទោសចំពោះការប្រើប្រាស់ហិង្សាយកមកធ្វើជាមធ្យោបាយក្នុងការសម្រេចនូវគោលដៅនយោបាយឬអ្វីៗផ្សេងទៀត ហើយទទូចឱ្យគ្រប់ភាគីទាំងអស់ខិតខំអត់ធ្មត់ឱ្យបានជាអតិបរមានិងបង្ហាញនូវការគោរពច្បាប់។ យើងបានទទូចសុំឱ្យសហជីពនិងរដ្ឋាភិបាលធ្វើការជាមួយគ្នាដើម្បីសម្រេចបាននូវដំណោះស្រាយប្រកបដោយសន្តិវិធីលើការមិនចុះសម្រុងគ្នាខាងផ្នែកការងារ ហើយយើងកំពុងតែធ្វើការយ៉ាងសកម្មជាមួយនឹងរាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជា អ្នកនាំចេញ អ្នកបញ្ជាទិញ អង្គការពលកម្មអន្តរជាតិនិងសហជីពកម្មករកម្ពុជាលើបញ្ហានេះហើយ»។

The U.S. State Department has condemned the violence in Cambodia that has seen at least four people killed on Friday in the country's worst violence seen since deadly crackdowns on protests in 1998.

Mari Harf, deputy spokesperson at the US State Department told reporters at a press conference that: "The United States deeply regrets the recent loss of lives in Cambodia during violence clashes between protesters and government security forces. We condemn violence as a mean to achieve political or other objectives and urge all sides to exercise maximum restraint and show respect for the rule of law. We have urged workers unions and government to work together toward a peaceful resolution of labor disagreement and we are actively engaging the Royal Government of Cambodia, exporters, buyers, international labor organizations, and Cambodian worker organization on this issue."
