Cambodian [unconstitutional] PM heads to Laos for official visit
PHNOM PENH, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- [unconstitutional] Cambodian Prime Minister
Hun Sen left here on Thursday for a two-day visit to Laos in order to
further enhance bilateral ties and cooperation between the two
neighboring countries.
The premier was accompanied by [unconstitutional] Deputy Prime Minister and [unconstitutional] Foreign
Minister Hor Namhong and [unconstitutional] Deputy Prime Minister and Cabinet Minister Sok
An as well as other [unconstitutional] government officials, Sry Thamarong, minister
attached to the prime minister, told reporters at the airport before
departure.
"It is the Prime Minister Hun Sen's first visit to Laos after the Cambodian government in the fifth term was formed in September, " he said. "The visit aims to further strengthen and expand friendship relations and cooperation in all fields between the two neighboring countries."
During the visit, Hun Sen will hold a talk with his Laos
counterpart Thongsing Thammavong and then, the two leaders will witness
the signing ceremony of seven documents and agreements, which are
focused on the cooperation in health, legal and judicial affairs,
security, culture and art, education, and sister city relationship
between Phnom Penh and Vientiane Capital Cities, he said.
Besides, Hun Sen will pay separate courtesy calls on Laos
President Choummaly Sayasone and Parliament President Pany Yathorton, he
added.
