Son Chhay, a member of the opposition Cambodia National Rescue Party,
said he and other delegates will continue to look for a way to visit the
detainees, whose detention has been the focus of recent demonstrations
by opposition supporters and labor activists.
Kuy Bun Sorn, director of the Ministry of Interior’s prison department,
said the Rescue Party delegation was not allowed to visit because
members are not relatives of the detainees.
