The Prevention of Actrocity Crimes

The Prevention of Actrocity Crimes

Bangkok | March 27-28, 2014

ASEAN Parliamentarians for Human Rights and the UN office on Genocide Prevention and the Responsibility to Protect meet in Bangkok to discuss on the role of Parliamentarians. My comment "Cambodia Khmer Rouge Tribunal is a shame. No justice to millions of souls who lost their lives. No reconcile to millions of survival relatives who are waiting ............................................for ever for justice".

Alex Hinton, Director of the Center for the Study of Genocide and Human Rights describes torturing details by Duch head of notorious Toul Sleng(S21). After 35 years of trying to reconcile and conceal my emotion, yet I felt million of souls still asking for justice. I could not conceal my emotion.

Extraordinary Chambers in The Courts of Cambodia Khmer Rouge Tribunal(ECCC) is a shame. Much attention were given to Khmer Rouge Leaders who committed horrific crimes where victims left with more grieves and receive no justice. Millions of dollars were wasted in a corrupt court a real precedent court case that would not deter any future leaders to commit the same crimes.

Many International Laws relate to preventing of atrocity crimes. But very slow to implement.
