The ultimate selfie? Travel company boss Lee Thompson was allowed to climb the 130ft-high Christ The Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, taking a selfie as he reached the top
Lee Thompson, 31, from London was able to convince the Brazilian tourist board to let him scale the 124ft high statue above Rio de Janeiro. It took the travel company boss around half an hour to climb the landmark, and when he reached the top he was unable to resist pulling out his camera for a selfie as he looked down on the sprawling city below.
