កំណើត អ៊ីស្មាអែល

សារ៉ាយ ជា​ភរិយា ​របស់ អាប់រ៉ាម ពុំ​ បាន​

បង្កើត​កូន​ ជូន​លោក​ទេ។  គាត់​ មាន​ស្រី​បំរើ​ ជាតិ​អេស៊ីប​ម្នាក់, ឈ្មោះ​ ​ហាការ។  សារ៉ាយ​ ជំរាប​ ​អាប់រ៉ាម​ ថា៖ «ដោយ​ព្រះយ៉ាវេ​ មិន​ប្រទាន​ ឲ្យ​ខ្ញុំ​ មាន​កូន, ដូច្នេះ សូម​ លោក​ ទៅ​យក​ ស្រី​បំរើ​ខ្ញុំ​ទៅ; ប្រហែល​ ជា​ខ្ញុំ​ នឹង​បាន​ កូន​ប្រុស​មួយ​ តាម​រយៈ​នាង​។»

អាប់រ៉ាម​ ក៏​ស្ដាប់​តាម​ ពាក្យ​សំដី ​របស់ សារ៉ាយ។  ពេលសារ៉ាយ (ជា​ភរិយា)​ យក​​ហាការ​ (ជន​ជាតិ ​អេស៊ីប ដែល​ជា​ស្រី​បំរើ ​របស់​ខ្លួន) មក​ប្រគល់ ​ឲ្យ​អាប់រ៉ាម (ជា​ស្វាមី) ​ធ្វើ​ជា​ប្រពន្ធ, អាប់រ៉ាម ​រស់​នៅ​ ក្នុង​ស្រុក​ កាណាន​ បាន​ដប់​ឆ្នាំ​ ហើយ។  លោក​ បាន​យក​ ​ហាការ, ហើយ ​នាង​ ក៏​មាន​ផ្ទៃ​ពោះ។

ពេល​នាង​ ដឹង​ថា​ខ្លួន​ មាន​ផ្ទៃ​ពោះ ​ដូច្នេះ, នាង ​ក៏​មាន​ចិត្ត​ មាក់ងាយ​ ម្ចាស់​ស្រី ​របស់​ខ្លួន។  សារ៉ាយ​ ពោល​ទៅ​កាន់ ​អាប់រ៉ាម ​ថា៖ «ព្រោះ​តែ ​លោក ​ហ្នឹង​ហើយ ​បាន​ជា​ខ្ញុំ ត្រូវ​ អាម៉ាស់!  ខ្ញុំ​ បាន​យក​ ស្រី​បំរើ​ របស់​ខ្ញុំ មក​ដាក់​ លើ​ដើម​ទ្រូង ​របស់​លោក។  តាំង​ពី​គេ​ ដឹង​ថា, ​ខ្លួន​ មាន​ផ្ទៃ​ពោះ, គេ ​បែរ​ ជា​មើលងាយ​ខ្ញុំ ​ទៅ​វិញ។  សូម​ ព្រះយ៉ាវេ ​ធ្វើ​ជា​ចៅក្រម ​រវាង​លោក និង​ខ្ញុំ​ចុះ!»

អាប់រ៉ាម​ តប​ទៅ​ សារ៉ាយ​វិញ​ ថា៖ «អូន​ មាន​អំណាច ​លើ​ស្រី​បំរើ ​របស់ ​អូន​ស្រាប់; ដូច្នេះ បើ​ អូន ​ចង់​ធ្វើ​ អ្វី​នាង, ចូរ​ ធ្វើ​តាម​តែ​ អូន ​យល់​ឃើញ ​ទៅ​ចុះ។»  សារ៉ាយ​ ក៏​ធ្វើ​បាប​ ​ហាការ, រហូត​ ដល់​នាង ​រត់​ចេញ​ឆ្ងាយ​ ពី​គាត់ ​បាត់​ទៅ។

ទេវតា ​របស់ ​ព្រះយ៉ាវេ​ បាន​ជួប​នាង នៅ​ក្បែរ​ ប្រភព​ទឹក​មួយ ក្នុង​វាល ​រហោស្ថាន, តាម​ផ្លូវ ​ទៅ​ស្រុក​ ស៊ើរ។  ទេវតា​នោះ​ ពោល​ថា៖ «នាង​ ហាការ​, ជា​ស្រី​បំរើ​ របស់​នាង​សារ៉ាយ ​អើយ!  តើ​ នាង ​ទៅ​ណា​ មក​ណា​ហ្នឹង?»

នាង​ តប​ថា៖ «នាង​ខ្ញុំ​ បាន​រត់​ចេញ​ ពី​លោក​ស្រី​ សារ៉ាយ ជា​ម្ចាស់​ របស់​នាង​ខ្ញុំ។» 

ទេវតា​ របស់ ​ព្រះយ៉ាវេ​ ពោល​ទៅ​នាង​ ថា៖ «ចូរ​ វិល​ត្រឡប់​ ទៅ​ផ្ទះ​ម្ចាស់ ​របស់​នាង ​វិញ, ហើយ​ ស្ដាប់​បង្គាប់​គាត់​ទៅ។»  ទេវតា ​របស់​ ព្រះយ៉ាវេ​ ពោល​ ទៅ​កាន់​នាង ​ទៀត​ថា៖ «យើង​ នឹង​ធ្វើ​ ឲ្យ​ពូជពង្ស​ របស់​នាង ​កើន​ចំនួន​ ច្រើន​ឡើង​ ជា​អនេក, គ្មាន​ នរណា​ អាច​រាប់​បាន ​ឡើយ, ព្រោះ ​ពូជពង្ស​ របស់​នាង​ នឹង​មាន​ច្រើន ​ឥត​គណនា។»

ទេវតា​ របស់​ ព្រះយ៉ាវេ ​ពោល​ទៅ​នាង​ ថា៖

«ឥឡូវ​នេះ, នាង​ មាន​ផ្ទៃ​ពោះ ​ហើយ;

នាង ​នឹង​សំរាល​បាន ​កូន​ប្រុស​មួយ។

នាង ​ត្រូវ​ ដាក់​ឈ្មោះ កូន​នោះ ​ថា, អ៊ីស្មាអែល,

ដ្បិត ​ព្រះយ៉ាវេ​ បាន​ឮ​សំរែក ​របស់​នាង

នៅ​ពេល​ ដែល​នាង ​រង​ទុក្ខ​វេទនា។

កូន​នេះ​ ប្រៀប​បាន ​ទៅ ​នឹង​លា​ព្រៃ;

គាត់ ​នឹង​វាយ​មនុស្ស​ ទាំង​អស់,

ហើយ​ មនុស្ស​ ទាំង​អស់​ ក៏​នឹង​វាយ​គាត់ វិញ​ដែរ។

គាត់ ​នឹង​រស់​នៅ​ ដាច់​ដោយ​ឡែក​ ពីបង​ប្អូន​ របស់គាត់។»

ហាការ​ បាន​ថ្វាយ​ព្រះនាម​ ព្រះយ៉ាវេ ដែល​មាន ​ព្រះបន្ទូល ​មក​នាង ​ថា, «ព្រះអង្គ​ ជា​អែលរ៉ូអ៊ី»,​ ដ្បិត ​នាង​ពោល​ថា, «ព្រះជាម្ចាស់​ ទត​ឃើញ​ខ្ញុំ​ នៅ​ទី​នេះ, មុន​ខ្ញុំ​ បាន​ឃើញ​ព្រះអង្គ។»  ហេតុ​នេះ​ហើយ​ បាន​ជា​គេ ​ដាក់​ឈ្មោះ ​អណ្ដូង​ទឹក​នោះ ​ថា, «អណ្ដូង​ ឡាហាយ-រយ»។ អណ្ដូង​នោះ​ ស្ថិត​នៅ​ចន្លោះ​ ភូមិ​ កាដេស និង​ភូមិ​ បារ៉ែដ។

ហាការ​ សំរាល​បាន​ កូន​ប្រុស​មួយ​ ជូន​អាប់រ៉ាម, ហើយ ​ ​អាប់រ៉ាម​ ដាក់​ឈ្មោះ​កូន ​ដែល​ហាការ​ បាន​បង្កើត ​ជូន​លោក​នោះ​ ថា, «អ៊ីស្មាអែល»។  នៅ​ពេល​ ដែល​ហាការ​ បង្កើត​ អ៊ីស្មាអែល​ ជូន​លោក​នោះ, អាប់រ៉ាម​ មាន​អាយុ ​ប៉ែតសិប​-ប្រាំ​មួយ ​ឆ្នាំ​ហើយ។ 

Genesis 16

Hagar and Ishmael

16 Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, had borne him no children. But she had an Egyptian slave named Hagar; ² so she said to Abram, “The Lord has kept me from having children. Go, sleep with my slave; perhaps I can build a family through her.”

Abram agreed to what Sarai said. ³ So after Abram had been living in Canaan ten years, Sarai his wife took her Egyptian slave Hagar and gave her to her husband to be his wife. ⁴ He slept with Hagar, and she conceived.

When she knew she was pregnant, she began to despise her mistress. ⁵ Then Sarai said to Abram, “You are responsible for the wrong I am suffering. I put my slave in your arms, and now that she knows she is pregnant, she despises me. May the Lord judge between you and me.”

⁶ “Your slave is in your hands,” Abram said. “Do with her whatever you think best.” Then Sarai mistreated Hagar; so she fled from her.

⁷ The angel of the Lord found Hagar near a spring in the desert; it was the spring that is beside the road to Shur. ⁸ And he said, “Hagar, slave of Sarai, where have you come from, and where are you going?”

“I’m running away from my mistress Sarai,” she answered.

⁹ Then the angel of the Lord told her, “Go back to your mistress and submit to her.” ¹⁰ The angel added, “I will increase your descendants so much that they will be too numerous to count.”

¹¹ The angel of the Lord also said to her:

“You are now pregnant

    and you will give birth to a son.

You shall name him Ishmael,^[a]

    for the Lord has heard of your misery.

¹² He will be a wild donkey of a man;

    his hand will be against everyone

    and everyone’s hand against him,

and he will live in hostility

    toward^[b] all his brothers.”

¹³ She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen^[c] the One who sees me.” ¹⁴ That is why the well was called Beer Lahai Roi^[d]; it is still there, between Kadesh and Bered.

¹⁵ So Hagar bore Abram a son, and Abram gave the name Ishmael to the son she had borne. ¹⁶ Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore him Ishmael.
