Genesis 49

យ៉ាកុប ឲ្យពរ កូនៗ ទាំងដប់ពីរ នាក់

យ៉ាកុប ហៅកូនៗ ឲ្យមកជុំគ្នា, ហើយ មានប្រសាសន៍ ថា៖ «ចូរ មកជួបជុំគ្នា; ពុក នឹងប្រាប់ ឲ្យកូនៗ ដឹងអំពី ហេតុការណ៍ ដែលត្រូវ កើតមាន ដល់កូនៗ ក្នុងពេល អនាគត។

«កូនចៅ របស់ យ៉ាកុប អើយ, ចូរ មកជួបជុំគ្នា, ហើយ ស្ដាប់; ចូរ ស្ដាប់ អ៊ីស្រាអែល ជាឪពុក។

«រូបេន ជាកូនច្បង របស់ពុក,

កូន ជាផល នៃកម្លាំង របស់ពុក,

ហើយ ពុក បានបង្កើតកូន មកមុនគេ

ក្នុងកាល ដែលពុក នៅពេញកម្លាំង នៅឡើយ;

កូន មានកិត្តិយស និងអំណាច ច្រើនជាងគេ;

កូន ប្រៀបបី ដូចជា ទឹកហូរ យ៉ាងខ្លាំង,

តែ កូន មិនអាចធ្វើ ជាមេគេ បានទេ,

ព្រោះ កូន បានបង្អាប់ កិត្តិយសពុក

ដោយលួច រួមដំណេក ជាមួយប្រពន្ធ របស់ពុក។

«ស៊ីម្មាន និងលេវី ជាបងប្អូន នឹងគ្នា;

គេ រួមគំនិតគ្នា, ប្រព្រឹត្ត អំពើ ឃោរឃៅ;

ពុក មិនព្រម រួមចំណែក ក្នុងការឃុបឃិត របស់គេ ទេ។

ពុក ក៏មិនព្រម ចូលរួម ប្រជុំ ជាមួយគេ ដែរ,

ដ្បិត ពេលមានកំហឹង, គេ បានសម្លាប់មនុស្ស,

ហើយ ពេលចង់សប្បាយ, គេ កាត់ជើងគោ លេង។

ពុក ដាក់បណ្ដាសា កំហឹង របស់គេ,

ព្រោះ កំហឹងនេះ កាចសាហាវណាស់,

ហើយ ពេលគេ ក្ដៅក្រហាយ,

គេ គ្មានចិត្ត ត្រាប្រណី ទាល់តែសោះ!

ពុក នឹងបំបែក អ្នកទាំងពីរ ក្នុងពូជពង្ស យ៉ាកុប;

ពុក នឹងកំចាត់ កំចាយគេ ក្នុងស្រុក អ៊ីស្រាអែល។

«យូដា អើយ, បងប្អូនកូន នឹងលើកតម្កើង កូនឡើង;

កូន នឹងមានអំណាច បង្ក្រាបខ្មាំងសត្រូវ របស់កូន;

បងប្អូនបង្កើត របស់កូន នឹងក្រាប ថ្វាយបង្គំកូន។

យូដា កូន អើយ, កូន ប្រៀបបាន នឹងសត្វ សិង្ហស្ទាវ

ដែលវិលមក ពីចាប់សត្វស៊ី;

ពេលសិង្ហស្ទាវនេះ ក្រាបក្ដី, ដេកក្ដី,

វា មានឫទ្ធិ ដូចសិង្ហឈ្មោល និងសិង្ហញី;

គ្មាន នរណា ហ៊ានដាស់ទេ។

ព្រះខ័នរាជ្យ នឹងមិន ចាកចេញ ពីយូដា ឡើយ;

ពូជពង្ស យូដា នឹងគ្រងរាជ្យ ជានិច្ច

រហូត ទាល់តែ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ

ដែលជាម្ចាស់ នៃព្រះខ័នរាជ្យនេះ យាងមកដល់,

ហើយ ប្រជារាស្ត្រនានា ត្រូវតែ ចុះចូល នឹងព្រះអង្គ។

ព្រះអង្គ ចងលា របស់ ព្រះអង្គ ជាប់

នឹងដើម ទំពាំងបាយជូរ,

ហើយ ចងកូនលា ជាប់ នឹងមែកវា។

ព្រះអង្គ លាងព្រះពស្ដ្រ របស់ ព្រះអង្គ

ក្នុងស្រា ទំពាំងបាយជូរ,

ហើយ លាងព្រះភូសា របស់ ព្រះអង្គ

ក្នុងទឹក ទំពាំងបាយជូរ។

ព្រះនេត្រ របស់ ព្រះអង្គ ក្រហម ជាងស្រា ទំពាំងបាយជូរ,

ហើយ ព្រះទន្ត របស់ ព្រះអង្គ

ស ជាងទឹកដោះគោ ទៅទៀត។

«សាប់យូឡូន នឹងរស់នៅ តាមឆ្នេរសមុទ្រ,

ព្រមទាំង នាវាចត នៅតាម កំពង់ផែ;

ព្រំប្រទល់ របស់ សាប់យូឡូន

លាតសន្ធឹង រហូត ទៅដល់ក្រុង ស៊ីដូន។

«អ៊ីសាខារ ប្រៀបដូចជា សត្វលា ដ៏មាំ

ដេក នៅក្នុងក្រោល ដែលមាន ជញ្ជាំងពីរ។

អ៊ីសាខារ យល់ឃើញ ថា,

កន្លែង ដែលខ្លួន សំរាកនោះ ជាកន្លែងល្អ,

ហើយ ស្រុកនោះ ក៏ស្រួល រស់នៅផង;

ដូច្នេះ អ៊ីសាខារ ក៏អោនខ្លួន ឲ្យគេ ដាក់កែបផ្ទុក

របស់របរ ពីលើ និងឲ្យគេ ប្រើ ដូចទាសករ ផង។

«ដាន់ គ្រប់គ្រង លើប្រជាជន របស់ខ្លួន

ក្នុងចំណោម កុលសម្ព័ន្ធ អ៊ីស្រាអែល។

ដាន់ ប្រៀបបាន នឹងពស់ ដែលលូន នៅតាមផ្លូវ;

ដូចពស់វែក នៅតាមផ្លូវលំ ដែលចាំ តែ ចឹកកែងជើងសេះ, បណ្ដាល ឲ្យអ្នកជិះ ដាច់ផ្ងារ ធ្លាក់ចុះ មកក្រោម។

«ឱព្រះយ៉ាវេ អើយ, ទូលបង្គំ សង្ឃឹម ថា,

ព្រះអង្គ នឹងសង្គ្រោះ ទូលបង្គំ។

«កាដ ត្រូវ កងទ័ពមួយ មកវាយសំរុក;

តែ កាដ នឹងវាយ កងទ័ពនោះ ពីក្រោយខ្នងវិញ។

«អេស៊ើរ ចេះធ្វើ ម្ហូបអាហារ យ៉ាងឆ្ងាញ់ វិសេស;

កូន នឹងធ្វើ ព្រះស្ងោយ ថ្វាយព្រះមហាក្សត្រ។

«ណែបថាលី ប្រៀបបាន នឹងសត្វក្ដាន់ញី

ដែលរត់ ដោយសេរី និងបង្កើតកូន យ៉ាងស្អាតៗ។

«យ៉ូសែប ប្រៀបបាន នឹងពន្លក,

លូតចេញ ពីដើមឈើ ដ៏ល្អ ដែលដុះ នៅមាត់ទឹក;

មែក របស់វា ខ្ពស់ជាង កំពែងក្រុង ទៅទៀត។

ខ្មាំងសត្រូវ នាំគ្នា រករឿង យ៉ូសែប;

គេ បាញ់ព្រួញ មកលើយ៉ូសែប,

ប៉ុន្តែ ធ្នូ របស់ យ៉ូសែប មានប្រៀបជាង។

យ៉ូសែប នៅតែ ខ្លាំងពូកែ ជានិច្ច។

សូម ឫទ្ធានុភាព នៃព្រះ របស់ យ៉ាកុប

ដែលគ្មាន នរណា អាចយក ជ័យជំនះបាន,

សូម ព្រះអង្គ ដែលជាគង្វាល

និងជាថ្មដា របស់ ជនជាតិ អ៊ីស្រាអែល,

សូម ព្រះ របស់ពុក ជួយទំនុក បម្រុងកូន,

សូម ព្រះ ដ៏មានឫទ្ធានុភាព ខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់ បំផុត

ប្រទានពរកូន,

គឺ ឲ្យមានភ្លៀង បង្អុរចុះមក ពីលើមេឃ,

ឲ្យប្រភពទឹក ផុសចេញមក ពីទីជំរៅ,

ឲ្យមាន កូនច្រើន និងហ្វូងសត្វ ក៏ច្រើនដែរ។

សូម ឲ្យពរ ដែលពុក ផ្ដល់ ដល់កូននេះ

បានប្រសើរ លើសពរ ដូនតា របស់ពុក

និងខ្ពស់ លើសកំពូលភ្នំ ដែលនៅ ស្ថិតស្ថេរ

អស់កល្ប ជានិច្ច ទៅទៀត។

សូម ឲ្យពរ ទាំងនេះ ធ្លាក់មក លើយ៉ូសែប,

គឺ ធ្លាក់មក លើសក់ របស់ យ៉ូសែប ដែលព្រះអង្គ

បានញែកចេញ ពីចំណោម បងប្អូន របស់ខ្លួន

ដើម្បី ឲ្យបំរើ ព្រះអង្គ។

«បេនយ៉ាមីន ប្រៀបបាន នឹងចចក ដ៏សាហាវ

ដែលសម្លាប់សត្វ, ហែកស៊ី នៅពេលព្រឹក

និងយករំពា មកចែកគ្នា នៅពេលល្ងាច។»

លោកទាំងនោះ ជាកុលសម្ព័ន្ធ ទាំងដប់ពីរ របស់ ជនជាតិ អ៊ីស្រាអែល។ យ៉ាកុប បានផ្ដែផ្ដាំ ដូច្នេះ នៅពេលលោក ឲ្យពរកូន ទាំងដប់ពីរ, គឺ ម្នាក់ៗ ទទួលពរ រៀងៗខ្លួន។

យ៉ាកុប ទទួល មរណភាព

បន្ទាប់មក យ៉ាកុប ផ្ដែផ្ដាំ កូនៗ ថា៖ «បន្តិចទៀត, ពុក នឹងទៅជួបជុំ ជាមួយដូនតា របស់ពុក ដែលបានលា ចាកលោក ទៅហើយនោះ។ ចូរ បញ្ចុះសពពុក នៅក្បែរដូនតា ក្នុងគុហា ដែលនៅក្នុងចំការ របស់លោក អេប្រូន ជាជនជាតិ ហេត, គឺ នៅក្នុងចំការ ម៉ាកពេឡា ជិតម៉ាមរ៉េ ក្នុងស្រុក កាណាន, ជាចំការ ដែលលោកតា អប្រាហាំ បានទិញ ពីលោក អេប្រូន ជនជាតិហេត, ទុក សម្រាប់ធ្វើ ជាកន្លែងបញ្ចុះសព។ នៅទីនោះ គេ បានបញ្ចុះសព លោកតា អប្រាហាំ និងលោកយាយ សារ៉ា ជាភរិយា, លោកតា អ៊ីសាក និងលោកយាយ រេបិកា ជាភរិយា, ហើយ ពុក ក៏បានបញ្ចុះសព លេអា នៅទីនោះដែរ។ លោកតា អប្រាហាំ បានទិញចំការ, ព្រមទាំង គុហា ដែលស្ថិតនៅ ក្នុងចំការនោះ ពីជនជាតិហេត។»

យ៉ាកុប បានផ្ដែផ្ដាំ កូនៗ ចប់សព្វគ្រប់ ហើយ, លោក លើកជើង ដាក់លើគ្រែ វិញ, ហើយ ក៏ផុតដង្ហើម ទៅជួបជុំ ជាមួយដូនតា របស់លោក។

Jacob Blesses His Sons

49 Then Jacob called for his sons and said: “Gather around so I can tell you what will happen to you in days to come.

²“Assemble and listen, sons of Jacob;

listen to your father Israel.

³“Reuben, you are my firstborn,

my might, the first sign of my strength,

excelling in honor, excelling in power.

⁴Turbulent as the waters, you will no longer excel,

for you went up onto your father’s bed,

onto my couch and defiled it.

⁵“Simeon and Levi are brothers—

their swords^[a] are weapons of violence.

⁶Let me not enter their council,

let me not join their assembly,

for they have killed men in their anger

and hamstrung oxen as they pleased.

⁷Cursed be their anger, so fierce,

and their fury, so cruel!

I will scatter them in Jacob

and disperse them in Israel.

⁸“Judah,^[b] your brothers will praise you;

your hand will be on the neck of your enemies;

your father’s sons will bow down to you.

⁹You are a lion’s cub, Judah;

you return from the prey, my son.

Like a lion he crouches and lies down,

like a lioness—who dares to rouse him?

¹⁰The scepter will not depart from Judah,

nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet,^[c]

until he to whom it belongs^[d] shall come

and the obedience of the nations shall be his.

¹¹He will tether his donkey to a vine,

his colt to the choicest branch;

he will wash his garments in wine,

his robes in the blood of grapes.

¹²His eyes will be darker than wine,

his teeth whiter than milk.^[e]

¹³“Zebulun will live by the seashore

and become a haven for ships;

his border will extend toward Sidon.

¹⁴“Issachar is a rawboned^[f] donkey

lying down among the sheep pens.^[g]

¹⁵When he sees how good is his resting place

and how pleasant is his land,

he will bend his shoulder to the burden

and submit to forced labor.

¹⁶“Dan^[h] will provide justice for his people

as one of the tribes of Israel.

¹⁷Dan will be a snake by the roadside,

a viper along the path,

that bites the horse’s heels

so that its rider tumbles backward.

¹⁸“I look for your deliverance, Lord.

¹⁹“Gad^[i] will be attacked by a band of raiders,

but he will attack them at their heels.

²⁰“Asher’s food will be rich;

he will provide delicacies fit for a king.

²¹“Naphtali is a doe set free

that bears beautiful fawns.^[j]

²²“Joseph is a fruitful vine,

a fruitful vine near a spring,

whose branches climb over a wall.^[k]

²³With bitterness archers attacked him;

they shot at him with hostility.

²⁴But his bow remained steady,

his strong arms stayed^[l] limber,

because of the hand of the Mighty One of Jacob,

because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,

²⁵because of your father’s God, who helps you,

because of the Almighty,^[m] who blesses you

with blessings of the skies above,

blessings of the deep springs below,

blessings of the breast and womb.

²⁶Your father’s blessings are greater

than the blessings of the ancient mountains,

than^[n] the bounty of the age-old hills.

Let all these rest on the head of Joseph,

on the brow of the prince among^[o] his brothers.

²⁷“Benjamin is a ravenous wolf;

in the morning he devours the prey,

in the evening he divides the plunder.”

²⁸All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father said to them when he blessed them, giving each the blessing appropriate to him.

The Death of Jacob

²⁹Then he gave them these instructions: “I am about to be gathered to my people. Bury me with my fathers in the cave in the field of Ephron the Hittite, ³⁰the cave in the field of Machpelah, near Mamre in Canaan, which Abraham bought along with the field as a burial place from Ephron the Hittite. ³¹There Abraham and his wife Sarah were buried, there Isaac and his wife Rebekah were buried, and there I buried Leah. ³²The field and the cave in it were bought from the Hittites.^[p]”

³³When Jacob had finished giving instructions to his sons, he drew his feet up into the bed, breathed his last and was gathered to his people.
