យោងតាម កិច្ចព្រមព្រៀង រវាង គណបក្សទាំងពីរ កាលពីថ្ងៃ ២២ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ២០១៤ ព្រឹទ្ធសភា នឹងរៀបចំ ក្បាលម៉ាស៊ីន ដឹកនាំ របស់ខ្លួន ជាថ្មី នៅក្នុងពេល ឆាប់ៗ ខាងមុខនេះ។ សូម រំលឹក ថា គណបក្ស សម រង្ស៊ី មានសមាជិក ព្រឹទ្ធសភា ១១រូប លើ ៦០រូប ដែលក្នុងនោះ គណបក្ស ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា មាន ៤៥ រូប។
Following the 22 July 2014 agreement between the CPP and the CNRP the leadership of the Senate -- now exclusively made up of CPP members -- will shortly be reorganized to include members from the Sam Rainsy Party (SRP, a cofounder of CNRP). The SRP currently has 11 Senate members out of 60, of which 45 are from the CPP.
