ប្រាជ្ញា ​នាំ​ឲ្យ​មាន ​សុភមង្គល - សុភាសិត ៣ | Proverbs 3:13-20

ប្រាជ្ញា ​នាំ​ឲ្យ​មាន ​សុភមង្គល

អ្នក​ណា ​រក​ប្រាជ្ញា​ ឃើញ,

អ្នក​ណា​ រៀន​ដឹង ​ខុស​ត្រូវ,

អ្នក​នោះ​ មាន​សុភមង្គល ​ហើយ,

ដ្បិត ​ប្រាជ្ញា ដែល​គេ ​រក​បាន​នេះ​ ប្រសើរ​ជាង​ មាន​ប្រាក់, ហើយ ​ផ្ដល់​ឲ្យ​គេ ​បាន​ចំណេញ ច្រើន

ជាង​មាន​មាស ​ទៅ​ទៀត។
ប្រាជ្ញា​ មាន​តម្លៃ​ លើស​ត្បូង,

ហើយ ​អ្វីៗ​ ទាំង​អស់ ​ដែល​អ្នក​ ប្រាថ្នា​ចង់​បាន

ពុំ​ អាច​មាន ​តម្លៃ​ស្មើ​ នឹង​ប្រាជ្ញា​នេះ ​ឡើយ។

ប្រាជ្ញា​ ផ្ដល់​ឲ្យ​មាន​អាយុ​ យឺនយូរ,

ព្រម​ទាំង​ នាំ​ឲ្យ​ មាន​សម្បត្តិ

និង​កិត្តិយស ​ដ៏​រុងរឿង​ ទៀត​ផង។
ប្រាជ្ញា ​ដឹក​នាំ​មនុស្ស ​ឲ្យ​រស់​នៅ

​ដោយ​សុខដុមរមនា និង​សុខសាន្ត។
ប្រាជ្ញា ​ជា​ដើម​ឈើ​ ផ្ដល់​ជីវិត

សំរាប់​ អស់​អ្នក ​ដែល​បេះ​ផ្លែ​ បរិភោគ។ 

អ្នក​ណា ​មាន​ប្រាជ្ញា​ ជាប់​ក្នុង​ខ្លួន,

អ្នក​នោះ ​មាន​សុភមង្គល ​ហើយ។
ព្រះយ៉ាវេ​ បាន​បង្កើត​ ផែនដី

ដោយសារ ​ព្រះ​ប្រាជ្ញា​ញាណ,

ហើយ ​ព្រះអង្គ​ បាន​លាត​សន្ធឹង ​ផ្ទៃ​មេឃ

ដោយសារ​ ព្រះ​តម្រិះ ​របស់ ​ព្រះអង្គ។ 

ព្រះអង្គ​ បាន​ធ្វើ ​ឲ្យ​ទឹក​ ផុស​ចេញ​ ពី​ទី​ជំរៅ

និង​ឲ្យ​ពពក​ បង្អុរ​ភ្លៀង​ ចុះ​មក

ដោយសារ​ ព្រះតម្រិះ ​ដ៏​វាងវៃ​ របស់ ​ព្រះអង្គ។

Blessed are those who find wisdom,
    those who gain understanding,
¹⁴ for she is more profitable than silver
    and yields better returns than gold.
¹⁵ She is more precious than rubies;
    nothing you desire can compare with her.
¹⁶ Long life is in her right hand;
    in her left hand are riches and honor.
¹⁷ Her ways are pleasant ways,
    and all her paths are peace.
¹⁸ She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her;
    those who hold her fast will be blessed.

¹⁹ By wisdom the Lord laid the earth’s foundations,
    by understanding he set the heavens in place;
²⁰ by his knowledge the watery depths were divided,
    and the clouds let drop the dew.

Proverbs: Background Note

Authors

“sayings of the wise.”... Solomon’s ability to produce proverbs is specified in 1Ki 4:32, where 3,000 proverbs are attributed to him. Coupled with statements about his unparalleled wisdom...

Date

If Solomon is granted a prominent role in the book, most of Proverbs would stem from the tenth century b.c. [before Christ] during the time of Israel’s united kingdom. The peace and prosperity that characterized that era accord well with the development of reflective wisdom and the production of literary works...

Purpose and Teaching

...According to the prologue (1:1–7), Proverbs was written to give “prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young” (1:4), and to make the wise even wiser (1:5). ...

In any event, the concluding epitomizing of wisdom in the wife of noble character forms a literary frame with the opening discourses, wherewisdom is personified as a woman.
