Rasoka, I met with the two women again and passed on to them what you, as a French-educated physician who is with Unicef, wrote here and it greatly appeased their fears. Their fears, along with those of other parents across the country, are well-founded and legitimate, in this land full of halls of mirrors, where a life or lives can be betrayed at the drop of a riel, where truth is obscured, manipulated, twisted, hidden with smooth lies, and legitimate news sources are blocked or squeezed out with channels of propaganda, e.g. Metfone, leaving the population in the dark to concoct truths from hearsay and rumors.
