http://tinyurl.com/qhoj38l There are many successive reports over the last few years showing that hundreds, if not thousands, of Cambodian migrant workers have been cheated by human traffickers and forced to work as slaves on Thai fishing boats. A large number of victims of human trafficking originally taking place on Thai territory -- most of them are Burmese -- have been subsequently dumped on a number of Indonesian islands after having worked as slaves for years on Thai fishing boats. Today we learnt that some 50 Cambodian slaves have just been freed on an Indonesian island and would soon return to Cambodia. http://tinyurl.com/o4w38vg.
