Sam Rainsy: Cambodia in 1863, the year France established its protectorate

- Au centre: le Roi Sisowath (qui régna de 1904 à 1927).
- A gauche: un soldat de l’armée française sous le drapeau tricolore.
- A droite: trois déesses symbolisant les trois provinces revenant à la mère-patrie.

ទេវតាបីអង្គ តំណាង ឲ្យខេត្ត បាត់ដំបង, ខេត្ត សៀមរាប និងខេត្ត ស៊ីសុផុន ដែលវិលត្រឡប់ ចូលមក មាតុភូមិ កម្ពុជាវីញ។  Three goddesses representing the provinces of Battambang, Siem Reap and Sisophon returning to the motherland.  Trois déesses symbolisant les provinces de Battambang, Siem Reap et Sisophon qui reviennent à la mère-patrie.

ច្រើនទសវត្សរ៍ មុនបារាំង ចូលមក គ្រប់គ្រង ប្រទេស កម្ពុជា នៅឆ្នាំ ១៨៦៣, សៀម បានកាត់យក ខេត្តខ្មែរ មួយចំនួន នៅភូមិភាគ ខាងជើង និងខាងលិច នៃប្រទេស កម្ពុជា, ក្នុងនោះ មានខេត្ត បាត់ដំបង, ខេត្ត សៀមរាប, និងខេត្ត ស៊ីសុផុន។

បើ បារាំង មិនបាន អន្តរាគមន៍ នៅឆ្នាំ ១៨៦៣ នោះទេ, យួន និងសៀម ច្បាស់ ជាហែក ទឹកដីខ្មែរ ចែកគ្នា គ្មាន សល់អីទេ, ហើយ ប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ច្បាស់ ជារលាយ បាត់ពីផែនទី។

If the French did not intervene in 1863, Cambodia would have disappeared from the map, with her territory being shared between the Yuon (later known as Vietnamese) and the Siam (later known as Thai).
