At least 65 dead and 300 injured after Taliban suicide bomber targeted Christians celebrating Easter in a park in Pakistan

Pakistan suicide bombers kill over 65 people during Easter celebrations in Lahore
The blast went off in the parking area of Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park (pictured), Lahore, a few metres away from children's swings, and officials expect the death toll to rise. Crowds of people were seen in floods of tears (top right and bottom left) at the park, where Christians had been celebrating Easter at the time. Senior police official Haider Ashraf said the blast appeared to be a suicide attack, adding that ball bearings were found at the scene. Around 300 people were injured and people were seen being carried onto stretchers (top right), as debris from the blast remained scattered all over the ground (bottom right).
