០៤ មេសា ២០១៦ / 04 April 2016 - It's a matter of leadership (*)កាលពីសម័យ សង្គមរាស្ត្រនិយម មានសម្តេចព្រះ សរោត្តម សីហនុ ជាប្រធាន ប្រមាណ ៥០-៦០ ឆ្នាំមុន ប្រទេសកម្ពុជា លូតលាស់ និងរីកចំរើនជាងប្រទេសជិតខាងទាំងអស់ ដូចជាប្រទេសថៃ និងប្រទេសសិង្ហបុរី ជាដើម។ នេះដោយសារតែយើងមានមេដឹកនាំល្អត្រឹមត្រូវ ពេលនោះ។ តែឥលូវនេះ យើងចាញ់ប្រទេសជិតខាងឆ្ងាយណាស់ ហើយប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ស្ថិតក្នុងចំណោមប្រទេសក្រីក្រ និងអន់ថយជាងគេបំផុតលើពិភពលោក ទោះជាបានទទួលជំនួយអន្តរជាតិ ហើយបានខ្ចីលុយពីបរទេសយ៉ាងសន្ធឹកសន្ធាប់ យ៉ាងណាក៏ដោយ។(*) Under the Sangkum Reastr Niyum regime presided over by our late King Norodom Sihanouk, 50 to 60 years ago, Cambodia was more economically developed than all its neighbours including Thailand and Singapore. This is due to the fact that we had good and competent leaders. But now we are far behind our neighbours and Cambodia is among the world's poorest countries in spite of a massive international assistance and unprecedented commercial borrowings from abroad.
