The court on Monday denied bail to him and four other human rights workers who were arrested in April on accusations they tried to help cover up a woman's affair with the deputy leader of the opposition Cambodia National Rescue Party. Rights groups have expressed concern about a growing campaign of legal pressure against critics and opponents of Prime Minister Hun Sen's government ahead of elections starting next year.
