Vietnamese President to Pay Official Visits to Laos and Cambodia

Hanoi, Jun 12 (Prensa Latina) Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang
will kick off an official visit to Laos on Sunday to strengthen
traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two
countries, it was reported here.
At the invitation of his counterpart, Bounnhang Vorachit, the
Vietnamese leader will visit the neighboring country until Tuesday,
according to reports.
The visit was preceded by the one concluded here on Friday by Lao Foreign Minister Saleumxay Kommasith, to whom Dai Quang told that the fact that his first trip abroad as a head of State will be to Laos shows the high consideration that Vietnam grants to relations with that country.
After visiting Laos, the Vietnamese president will travel to Cambodia, where he will stay until June 16, at the invitation King Norodom Sihamoni [sic!].
This visit will take place two weeks after Cambodian Defense Minister [Tea Banh]Ngo Xuan Lich visited Vietnam.
