Prime Minister arrives in Cambodia for CLV9
Viet Nam NewsSIEM REAP — Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc arrived in Siem Reap, Cambodia, today for the 9th Summit of Cambodia-Laos-Việt Nam Development Triangle Area (CLV 9) at the invitation of his Cambodian counterpart Samdech Techo Hun Sen.
The Vietnamese PM was welcomed at Siem Reap international airport by leaders of the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation of Cambodia, along with representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy and Consulate General in Battambang.
Since its establishment 17 years ago, the triangle area’s co-operation mechanism has been strengthened ceaselessly, contributing to enhancing links, ensuring security and political stability, and promoting poverty reduction and socio-economic development in the three countries.
The co-operation among Cambodia, Laos and Việt Nam has been expanded across fields, from security-diplomacy, transport, industry, trade, and investment to agriculture and environmental protection.
At the CLV8 in Vientiane, Laos, in 2014, the parties supported Việt Nam’s proposal to enlarge the mechanism through fostering connectivity of the three economies instead of only 13 border provinces, and pushing cooperation in the terms of telecommunications, electricity, tourism and banking.
PM Phúc is scheduled to meet his Cambodian and Lao counterparts Samdech Techo Hun Sen, and Thongloun Sisoulith, and take part in the CLV9 in the afternoon of the same day.
The summit is expected to issue a joint statement on connectivity of the three economies, among others. A list of 15 priority projects will also be tabled for discussion. VNS

Opposition party promises to develop border area if it wins elections
ReplyDeleteStupid CNRP, you keep playing game to win.
In a real economic development, you want to lay electrical power, water supply, road access and housing development in a best chosen area. Then the efficiency, profit from such area will give rise to the neighboring area.
The border area is not optimum for economic development. Transportation is bad; there is no road. Power supply is non-existence; water supply is terrible. How do you supply water for business to process food, stuff and products?
CNRP can only scam the uneducated ones. I am too smart for CNRP.
Vietnamese Land thief called DrGunzet (Anonymous9:30 AM). This poster enjoyed the land and property stolen from three countries: China, Champa and Cambodia/Khmer (Southern Cambodia called South Vietnam). Now, this idiot @Anonymous9:30 AM enjoys the benefit of cheating, stealing, killing other people. The Hanoi master-minded killers are the favorite of DrGunzet. This poster @Anonymous9:30 AM has no shame of the land thieves that his Hanoi master-minded killers robbed the land and natural resources from Cambodia and Laos for this idiot @Anonymous9:30 AM to enjoy. What a disgust and a shame of Vietnam, the land of thieves.
ReplyDeleteThere is no need to cheat nor steal from the Khmer. Just compete fair and square to win out right.
DeleteKhmer cannot compete, so...they cheat, steal, lie, rob, kill. Am I correct?
