Cambodia Gets Opportunity to Join Russia-Led Int'l Counterterror Database

Cambodia has been offered the opportunity to join the International Counterterrorism Database under the auspices of Russia's National Anti-Terrorism Committee, the Russian Security Council said Tuesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The proposal was made at bilateral security consultations in Phnom Penh, where there were issues of coordinating efforts to combat terrorist financing and the supply of arms and ammunition, the council's press service said.

"Cambodia has been invited to join the International Counterterrorism Database, acting under the auspices of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee of Russia," the council said.
