About a thousand people attended the first anniversary memorial for one
of Cambodia's greatest heroes, Dr. Kem Ley, in Melbourne at the Wat
Buddharangsi today with the presence of
Ministers, senior MPs, heads of NGOs, academia, rep from International
Commission of Jurists and many more. We came together to honour Dr. Kem
Ley's bravery, tenacity, sacrifice, humility, resilience and unique
leadership. We take pride in the fact that we are committed to continue
his good work in promoting and defending democracy, human rights and
social justice in Cambodia.
