International sanctions will make Hun Sen back off
លោក ហ៊ុន សែន កំពុង ក្រអឺតក្រទម ជាមួយ សហរដ្ឋ អាមេរិក និងអឺរ៉ុប ពីព្រោះ គាត់ មិនសូវយល់ ពីបញ្ហា សេដ្ឋកិច្ច, ហិរញ្ញវត្ថុ, និងពាណិជ្ជកម្ម។ តែ បន្តិចទៀត ដោយត្រូវ ព្រនង់ កាន់តែ ខ្លាំងឡើងៗ ពីលោកសេរី, គាត់ នឹងចាប់ផ្តើម យល់, ហើយ បកថយក្រោយវិញ បើ មិនចង់ ជួបគ្រោះថ្នាក់។

Hun Sen is being so arrogant with the U.S. and Europe because he
doesn’t fully understand economic, financial and commercial issues
facing Cambodia. But soon, when increasing sanctions from the West start
to apply, he will start to understand and will have to back off or face

Last time, Scam Rainsy was caught of calling EU to stop importing garment from Cambodia. When the garment workers went up in arms, he said, "I was only kidding to scare Hun Sen." LOL...

Alright, I propose USA to sanction Cambodia like this: No trip to Disney Land or Las Vegas. No skiing in the Alps nor boating in Australia coral sea.
That's enough to scare Mr. Hun Sen and CPP. LOL...
Remember last year when Mr. Hun Sen threatened to sanction Kem Sokha from going to Bangkok for sex romp, Kem Sokha immediately sold out CNRP to CPP and usurped Sam Rainsy's presidency?

ReplyDeleteOn Tuesday, the former opposition leader called on Hun Sen to be “brave enough” to let him return. “Please, Mr Hun Sen, be brave and do not prevent me from competing with you like boxers,” he told Radio Free Asia. In response to Sam Rainsy’s request, Hun Sen acquiesced and instructed the Council of Ministers to revoke the ban.
Sam Rainsy seems to fancy himself as a pugilist; he has used the boxing analogy previously. And with the swagger of a braggadocio boxer, he commented: “Hun Sen is scared of me, scared of my name, scared of my voice, scared of my shadow.”
The thing is: the prime minister probably isn’t that scared. In fact, he has worked the situation to his favor. What happens, for example, if Sam Rainsy now decides not to return to Cambodia, as appears to be the case? Well, Hun Sen can say that he offered it but Sam Rainsy is too much of a coward to accept. “Please come freely by water, overland, or whatever,” Hun Sen said on Thursday. “Look! Brave man, the door is open.”
Sam Rainsy has a knack for making promises to face imprisonment only to renege on them. He did so in November 2015, which I defended. But the bravado is getting a bit too much.
