Phnom Penh (VNA) Phase I of a project on building nine FM radio and television broadcasting stations funded by the Vietnamese Government in Cambodia was inaugurated in Kampong Cham province on November 16.

The project aims to help Cambodia expand the radio and TV broadcasting coverage and improve broadcast quality. It is part of an agreement signed at the 14th meeting of the Vietnam-Cambodia Joint Committee on Economic, Cultural and Scientific-Technical Cooperation in October 2015.

Two phases of the project, financed through Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), are implemented in 2017 and 2018.

Under this project, four FM radio stations are built in the provinces of Kep, Tboung Khmum, Pursat and Kampong Chhnang. Meanwhile, five TV stations are located in some other provinces, including Svay Rieng and Kampong Cham.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Cambodian Minister of Information Khieu Kanharith appreciated the Vietnamese Government’s practical assistance to his country in many spheres, including information and communications. The broadcasting stations sponsored by the Vietnamese Government have proved effective, contributing to socio-economic development in Cambodia.

Kampong Cham Governor Kui Chamroen also highly valued Vietnam’s continuous and unconditional support since the defeat of the Khmer Rounge, helping to improve Cambodian people’s living standards.

For his part, VOV General Director Nguyen The Ky said he hopes the Vietnamese-funded radio and TV stations, equipped with modern facilities, will help increase the broadcasting coverage and quality and promote Cambodia’s capacity of producing radio and TV programmes.

On November 15, VOV General Director Ky, who is also member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, had a working session with Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia Men Sam An and General Director of the national radio station of Cambodia Tan Sarat.-VNA

This Vietnamese or Yuon radio station installed in Cambodia is the same the radio station back in 1975 which was quickly installed to announce the Cambodia people to leave Cambodia. There was no chain of command that started from the top officials. Just like today, Hun Sen's CPP regime installed by the Vietnamese communist military from Hanoi, has been very messed and not organized. They (Hun Sen's CPP dogs) said this is order from the TOP (whether or not it is from Hun Sen) when it comes to arrest of opposition leaders or chiefs in the remote area. But Hun Sen did not order that yet, but Hun Sen's lazy-and-fat-ass CPP officials do anything in order to scare the unarmed Cambodian people in the remote here. The announcement from the radio station from evil Vietnam can cause the confusion.

So, who ordered the Cambodians to leave the cities and evacuate to the rural?

Responding to Anonymous10:22 AM - Secret Vietnamese agents hiding in Khmer Rouges uniforms working side by side with Pol Pot, Nuou Chea and Khiev Samphan. Those secret Vietnamese (Yuon) agents could speak, write and read Khmer language really well. I found out in my on eyes and eyes when I was there during the Killing Fields. I have survived during the Killing Fields (1975-1979) in Kompong Cham province. I saw the secret Vietnamese spies in light skins wearing Khmer Rogues uniforms with black and head with the red scarfs around their necks. There were many secret Vietnamese agents hiding before and after 1975.
