Cambodia: Adjusted election laws take effect

Vietnam Plus | 26 October 2017

Hanoi (VNA) – Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni on October 25 signed a royal ordinance approving four controversial amendments to elections laws.
The four amendments to election laws include Amendments to the Law on the Election of the Members of Parliament, Amendments to the Law on the Election of the Senate, Amendments to the Law on the Election of Commune Councils, Amendments to the Law on the Election of the Capital, Provincial, Municipal and District Councils.

The changes allow the National Election Committee (NEC) to reallocate seats of parties who refuse their seats or are dissolved.

The Cambodian Constitutional Council announced on October 24 that it has approved four controversial amendments to election laws, which had been passed by the National Assembly and Senate on October 16 and 20, respectively.

In early October, the Cambodian Ministry of Interior asked the Supreme Court to disband the opposition Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP), based on complaints from the Cambodian Youth Party (CYP) on October 4 and the FUNCIPEC Party on October 5 accusing the CNRP and its President Kem Sokha of treason.

The new laws will pave the way for the CNRP’s seats to be redistributed if the party is dissolved.

Cambodian media outlets have several times mentioned the possibility of the CNRP being dissolved. The 55 seats in the National Assembly will be given to FUNCIPEC (41 seats), League for Democracy Party (six seats), Khmer Anti-Poverty Party (five seats), Cambodian Nationality Party (two seats) and the Khmer Economic Development Party (one seat).-VNA

Look at the gay king's face. There's so much make up. It's disgusting.

He is going down to history as the:
    - poppet king of Cambodia
    - most useless king of Cambodia
    - worst king of Cambodia
    - gay king of Cambodia

He does no harm, better than Kem Sokha going around having sex with young girls and Scam Rainsy talking stupid to be sued.

He is the main cause of the problems Cambodia is facing now. Without him, Hun Sen would have a tougher time to pass many of the destructive laws to destroy democracy. Without him, Hun Sen would find it difficult to legitimize his government.
Many Cambodians now see him as Hun SEN'S DOG. Why he is behaving this way? No one really knows. It's possible that HUN SEN has some video tapes of him having sex with another man and Hun Sen is using it to blackmail this useless gay king. Hun Sen is good in two things: sue and blackmail. So, if he can not sue you, he will blackmail you. The king is likely very afraid of that.

Yeah, there are many Hun Sen's people working in the palace. They have secretly taped the king and his many young male lovers having sex. And the tapes are now in Hun Sen's hands. The king and his mother know about that. They have to follow Hun Sen's every order or Hun Sen will release the tapes to the public. Sad day for Cambodia.

The King will act tough to Mr. Hun Sen if you folks follow my plan for a Cambodian Meiji restoration. Unfortunately you folks are so uneducated, you don't even know that is the Meiji restoration.

And even if you do know, you are all a bunch of cowards. A few batons on the head would disperse you.
