Scam Rainsy kept making veiled threat of violence in the upcoming election but I don't think he has any credible force to carry out any threat. At best he can hire some terrorists to do some attacks but that's about it.
I also don't think EU or USA will heed to Scam Rainsy's request for a change of regime. Sure, a few cruise missiles or one nuclear bomb would do it, but China is protecting Cambodia now. No nation would dare to attack Cambodia unless...Scam Rainsy offers something very compelling in return.
