Scam Rainsy were always favored by Mr. Hun Sen, thus never went to jail. He was warned ahead of time about the stripping of immunity so that he can get cold feet at the Korean airport, refuse to board the plane heading home, Cambodia.
ReplyDeleteEffectively, Mr. Hun Sen helped Scam Rainsy to avoid facing trial and jail. In contrast, Mr. Hun Sen repeatedly jailed Kem Sokha or seized him, held him hostage. This caused a major rift between Kem Sokha and Scam Rainsy. Why one CNRP kept going to jail while the other one never went to jail.
Thus, the division of the have and have not rifted CNRP and the infighting was illustrated in the tweeting of Kem Sokha's daughter against Scam Rainsy. Just google-search for : CNRP infantile.

DeleteHe could have asked all CNRP voters to vote for one of the opposition parties to show CPP that people don't want to vote for CPP. But nooooo, he asked his supporters to boycott instead. He would not want to risk other opposition parties might win.
