តើ សឺង ង៉ុកមិញ ជានរណា? Who is Son Ngoc Minh?
ថ្ងៃស្អែក ត្រូវជាថ្ងៃទី ០៧ កក្កដា ២០១៨ នេះ ដែលជាថ្ងៃចាប់ផ្តើមយុទ្ធនាការឃោសនាបោះឆ្នោតផងដែរ គណបក្សប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា នឹងប្រារព្ធពិធីអបអរសាទរ ខួបទី ៦៧ នៃការបង្កើតបក្សរបស់គេ ក្នុងឆ្នាំ ១៩៥១ ក្រោមការដឹកនាំរបស់ សឺង ង៉ុកមិញ ហៅអាចារ្យមៀន។ តែប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រ ដែលរដ្ឋអំណាចសព្វថ្ងៃ បិទបាំង មិនឲ្យខ្មែរជំនាន់ក្រោយ បានយល់ដឹង បង្ហាញថា សឺង ង៉ុកមិញ បិតាគណបក្សប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា ជាជនក្បត់ជាតិ។
Son Ngoc Minh is considered the founding father of the ruling Cambodian People's Party. But when the CPP was founded in fact by the Vietminh (an invading Vietnamese communist army) in 1951 he was only a figurehead, a puppet behaving as a national traitor serving communist Vietnam's interests to the detriment of Cambodia's. Until 1954 when he definitively left Cambodia to follow the Vietminh to Hanoi, he was used as a front to justify North Vietnam's attacks on Cambodia and its (unsuccessful) attempt to divide Cambodia into two parts (like for Vietnam) at the 1954 Geneva Conference on Indochina.
