បន្ទាប់ ពីបាន ពិគ្រោះ យោបល់ ជាមួយ សហការី នៅកម្ពុជា និងអង្គការ អន្តរជាតិ ទ្រទ្រង់ លទ្ធិប្រជាធិបតេយ្យ មួយចំនួន ដែលបានស្នើ ឲ្យខ្ញំុ លៃលក មកដល់ ភ្នំពេញ ពេលថ្ងៃ ចៀសវាង ពេលយប់, ហើយ បានស្នើ ឲ្យខ្ញំុ ទុកពេល បន្តិចឲ្យ មជ្ឈដ្ឋាន ការទូត និងមិត្តបរទេស មួយចំនួន មានពេល ធ្វើអន្តរាគមន៍ រកដំណោះស្រាយ ដោយសន្តិវិធី ចំពោះ ការកើនឡើង នៃអំពើហិង្សា ថ្មីៗនេះ នៅប្រទេស កម្ពុជា, ខ្ញំុ មិនទាន់ មកដល់ ព្រលាន យន្តហោះ អន្តរជាតិ ភ្នំពេញ នៅរាត្រី នេះទេ, តែ នឹងមកដល់ ប្រទេស កម្ពុជាវិញ ក្នុងពេល ឆាប់ៗ ខាងមុខនេះ។
After consulting with colleagues in Cambodia and a number of international pro-democracy organizations that have suggested that I should arrive in Phnom Penh in broad daylight and that I should also leave some time for diplomatic intervention to materialize with the objective of reaching a peaceful solution to the recent escalation of violence in Cambodia, I am not arriving at Phnom Penh International Airport tonight at 22:20 as originally scheduled, but will be back in Cambodia in the next few days.
