Of course, they have no choice; of course, the clash is necessary; and of course, the authority has the right to kill to enforce the law. These sound familiar, don’t they? It is a Khmer Rouge mentality that they have no choice but to kill to enforce their law and stability. Cambodian life does not count much.

Sokha is not too sure who do the shooting. All he knows it is not the armed
forces; he claims it is the radical protesters whom he is not identifying.
But Hun Sen does know.
According to him, it is the third hand, though he does not say who it is.

The third hand’s intervention has been so timely and effective. The first 7 January was executed only after a four year wait for the KR's self-destruction and internal weakening to take place before the third hand troops walked right in. Now, the second 7 January is coming up to mark another milestone of bringing the whole Cambodia into an even tighter grip of eternal friendship and gratitude. This time is to provoke upheavals that inevitably weakens and destroys whatever Cambodia has left, not that it has much left.
One would have to be very naive to think the Hun Sun recent trip to Vietnam has nothing to do with the work of the third hand. The shooting dead of four Cambodian workers is just an opening of gambit in the next, perhaps final, phase of the journey to the West that has to come to an end somewhere sometime, doesn't it?

Is there anything mention in Cambodian Constitution for authorities to kills & murder it own people? It obvious that KR court and prosecution did not get rid of people with Khmer Rouge (KR) or Khmer Vietming (KV) association. UN need to properly prosecute "all former KR and KV leaders and commanders" then it justice can begin in Cambodia.
ReplyDeleteThe commander said he have no choice, they have plenty of choices to meet the demands of the million of demonstrators i.e set/call a new election date, Hun Sen step down, or probe into NEC election vote rigging and irregularities at the same time increase people wages to a livable conditions. If you crack down on demonstrators or workers and kill of them who will work??? dumb ass CPP.
