CCF transforming Stung Meanchey into an educational center

Is there a greater reward in life than having one's vision become a reality?

This is our Ground Zero, close to the former garbage dump, home and workplace for several thousand families and where we do our best work. It's where I started my journey here in Cambodia, 10 years ago.

So here is the big news: within 12 months, this very piece of land will transform into a "centre of education excellence", a 4 level building with world-class teaching and learning. Developing Cambodia's teachers, the core of any quality education, is one priority. Internet connectivity and computer-based learning will open the world up to the locals; higher education will help the transition to university preparation; dedicated study areas will bring an oasis to our kids, with the resources and environment to ensure they reach their full academic potential.

It will be one of the finest education centres in the country and, of course, it will be exclusive: only those without the means to access school, too indebted and poor to get even the most basic education, will be accepted.
