The Human Rights Resource Centre announces its plans to conduct an
ASEAN-wide research on freedom of thought, conscience and religion
(FOTCR).
HRRC’s Executive Director, Marzuki Darusman, said, “The study will seek to provide policymakers with much-needed analysis on both the extent to which legislative protections of freedom of religion exist, and how such protections contribute positively to regional integration and to international peace and security.”
