The Documentation Center of Cambodia has recently received a donation of visual documents about life in the refugee camps along Cambodia-Thailand border in the 1980s, in the form of 1,220 digital images, along with 144 film slides and 1 audio cassette. The photos were taken and donated by Jack Dunford, who worked for a small NGO with Indochinese refugees in Thailand during this period. Jack Dunford says he wanted to make the images publicly available because for many refugees, these photos might be the only existing images from their experience in the refugee camps.
