Last
year, at our annual Ripple of Hope Awards Gala, we featured an excerpt
from our play "Speak Truth To Power: Voices From Beyond the Dark," by
Ariel Dorfman, which features a series of monologues from human rights
defenders.
We were very lucky to be joined by the talented Cheryl Hines, who recited a monologue from 2014 Nobel Peace Prize recipient Malala Yousafzai. The play also features a monologue from 1995 RFK Human Rights Award Laureate Kailash Satyarthi, Malala's Nobel co-recipient.
