កាលពីថ្ងៃ ៥ តុលា ២០១៤, ខ្ញុំ បានទៅគោរព វិញ្ញាណក្ខ័ន ធយុទ្ធជន នៃរណសិរ្សជាតិ រំដោះ ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋ ខ្មែរ ដឺកនាំ ដោយសម្តេច សឺន សាន ដែលបាន បូជាជីវិត សម្រាប់ ប្រទេស ជាតិ ក្នុងទស្សវត្សន៍ ឆ្នាំ១៩៨០។  ពិធីគោរព វិញ្ញាណក្ខ័ន្ធនេះ បានធ្វើឡើង នៅមុខវិមាន ដែលបាន កសាងឡើង នៅបឹងត្រកួន ឃុំគោករមៀត ស្រុកថ្មពួក ខេត្ត បន្ទាយមានជ័យ។ On 5 October 2014, I went to pay my respects to the memories of the Khmer People National Liberation Front (KPNLF) fighters who, under the leadership of Samdech Son Sann, sacrificed their lives for their country in the 1980s. The ceremony took place at a memorial built at Boeung Trokuon village, Kauk Romeat commune, Thmor Pouk district, Banteay Meanchey province, on the border with Thailand.
