Malaysian firm JV wins contract to build airport in Cambodia
The
joint venture consortium with a 70:30 equity interest will design and
construct a new domestic terminal at the Phnom Penh Airport in Cambodia.
In
a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Muhibbah Engineering said the
construction of the new domestic terminal would cater to the future
growth of domestic traffic.
It added that construction had commenced and was expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2017.
“The contract is expected to
contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of Muhibbah Group
for the current and future financial years,” it said. – Bernama
