Approaching Activism 'With Love': How One Cambodian-American Activist Is Using Her Voice for Change

"Our activism has to be rooted in healing and it has to be rooted in radical love, because if we're only fueled by anger and we're only fueled by telling other people they're wrong, we're not going to be transformative." 
Growing up, activist Vanessa Na says the "model minority" stereotype caused displacement for her and her family, which caused them to stop talking about what it meant to be Cambodian Americans. But these days, Na is using her voice to raise awareness for the struggles that still exist among many Asian-American communities around her.
Look for new "Life Stories" videos published on Thursdays beginning in May and through September.
