Cambodia three years ago
បីឆ្នាំមុន គឺ នៅថ្ងៃ ទី១៩
ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ២០១៣, ខ្ញុំ បានធ្វើ មាតុភូមិនិវត្តន៍ មកដល់ទីក្រុង ភ្នំពេញ
បន្ទាប់ ពីអំណាចផ្តាច់ការ នៅស្រុកយើង បានប្រើ តុលាការ ដ៏អយុត្តិធម៌ របស់គេ តាមយាយីខ្ញុំ, ហើយ បង្ខំ ឲ្យខ្ញុំ និរទេសខ្លួន នៅក្រៅប្រទេស អស់រយៈពេល ៤ ឆ្នាំ, គឺ ពីឆ្នាំ ២០០៩
ដល់ឆ្នាំ ២០១៣។ ខ្ញុំ មានក្តីរំភើប ក្នុងចិត្ត យ៉ាងខ្លាំង, ហើយ ក៏ទទួលបាន កម្លាំងចិត្ត យ៉ាងខ្លាំងដែរ ដោយឃើញ ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋ រាប់សែននាក់
មកអបអរសាទរ មាតុភូមិនិវត្តន៍ របស់ខ្ញុំ, ហើយ បានរៀបចំ ជាជួរ មនុស្ស យ៉ាងច្រើន កុះករ
គគ្រឹកគគ្រេង ពីព្រលាន យន្តហោះ អន្តរជាតិ ពោធិ៍ចិនតុង រហូត ដល់ទីលាន ប្រជាធិបតេយ្យ
នៅក្នុងថ្ងៃ ជាប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រ នោះ។
Three
years ago, on 19 July 2013, I came back to Cambodia and arrived in Phnom Penh
after our country’s authoritarian government had used its unjust tribunal to
persecute me and force me into a four-year exile from 2009 to 2013. I was
extremely moved and was strongly encouraged to see the hundreds of thousands of
ordinary citizens who came to welcome me and stood clapping and cheering along
the way from Phnom Penh International Airport to Democracy Square on that
historic day.
