Duterte regrets Obama insult after bilateral meeting cancelled
Philippines president Rodrigo Duterte arrives in Vientiane for the Asean meeting |
Mr Duterte about the Philippines’ use of extrajudicial killings in the country’s war on drugs in a meeting on the sidelines of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit in Laos.
But hours before Mr Obama landed in Vientiane, Laos’s capital city,
Mr Duterte told reporters that if Mr Obama challenged him on the
killings, “Son of a whore, I will swear at you in that forum.”
“I am a president of a sovereign state and we have long ceased to be a
colony. I do not have any master except the Filipino people, nobody but
nobody,” Mr Duterte said.
Sam Rainsy asked Obama to cancel the trip to Cambodia in 2012. That was a minor insult too. How dare you ask Mr. Obama, the most power leader in the world to do what you want? What insolence!!!
ReplyDeleteOk, President Obama ignored the Opposition, and still visited Cambodia, then met with Prime Minister Hun Sen. Don't you dare calling President Obama with any name. More Cambodians will be expelled back to Cambodia. You will be punished.
