Nestling ever closer to China, with its promises of endless largesse and indifference toward human rights, Prime Minister Hun Sen seems to be growing apart from the U.N. and Western world, which helped draw up the blueprint for what has been a faltering democratic transition in Cambodia over the past two decades.

Officials from Beijing, meanwhile, have offered a warm embrace to their counterparts in Phnom Penh.
China’s new ambassador to Cambodia, Xiong Bo, told Mr. Hun Sen during a meeting on Thursday that he hoped to make cooperation between the two countries even “stronger and deeper,” according to a post to the premier’s Facebook page.
“The mission of his excellency Xiong Bo in Cambodia is to push the friendship, communication, cooperation and comprehensive partner strategy,” the post said.
Already this year, China has pledged nearly $600 million in aid to Cambodia. Facing plummeting rice prices this month, Cambodia quickly turned to China and asked for an emergency $300 million funding package to stabilize the sector. In return for the support, many say, Cambodia has acted as a diplomatic wedge preventing Asean members from uniting against Beijing over disputes in the South China Sea.
China attacked Vietnam for invading Cambodia. Most people would view: China tried to restore Pol Pot back to power. In fact, who supported Pol Pot at Thailand-Cambodia's border for so long.
ReplyDeleteKhmer people deserved to suffer horrible things because they had horrible ideas. That's why Cambodia went through the Pol Pot's time. And this will not be the last.
Just look at Cambodian community in America, a total failure. Khmer genes have been so corrupted now, full of rape-genes. There is no way Khmer folks can make it into the next century. Other races will out perform, and out-right own the Khmer race.
Your comment is out of the point and I disagree with your post. Pol Pot was a fool and dumb man and did not know there were many hidden Yuon/Vietcong agents (who spoke, wrote and read Khmer really well) hiding in Khmer Rouges uniforms during the Killing Fields (1975-1979). Pol Pot was surrounded by the Yuon/Vietnamese agents when he was seating as a leader. He did not go out further to the countryside of Cambodia to investigate what was going on. Pol Pot was pushed by the secret Yuon/Vietnamese agents and Hanoi leaders to sigh the deal with evil Yuon/Vietcong to give up Cambodian territory and islands to evil Vietcong/Yuon land encroaching thieve. There were dumb, gullible and brainwashed Khmer kids or teenagers who were trained from Vietcong/Yuon and they were so violent against Khmer people during the Killing Fields including Khmer Yiekminh or Vietminh like Heng Samrin, Chea Sim, Ah Kurk Hun Sen (Chkae Soth of Yuon/Vietnamese masters). The real Khmer Rouges soldiers of Pol Pot were so busy fighting with evil Yuon/Yiekcong/Vietcong invaders in the South to get Southern Cambodia/Khmer Krom (now South Vietnam). Sihanouk was surrounded by ousted by the suspicious orders (not from Pol Pot), but the ones who were called higher-up organization from Hanoi, actually called Angkar Leu/Kap Tren (Hahoi and Ghost Ho Chi Minh).

Therefore, more than 2 millions of innocent and higher educated Khmer people were killed/murdered and put into starvation to death under the dirty and secret plan of the secret Yuon/Vietnamese agents hiding in Khmer Rouges uniforms. Luckily, we, Khmer people, who have been left over from the Killing Fields, survived and stayed alive because of the United Nations envoys DID PLAN TO COME VISIT Cambodia during or at the end of 1978 before the invasion of evil Yuon/Vietcong/Vietnamese armies into Cambodia. You know why? The Hanoi master-minded killers (leaders) and secret Yuon/Vietcong agents hiding in Khmer Rouges uniforms heard the UN envoys were planning to come to Cambodia to inspect the issue or situations in Cambodia, because there are millions of complaints about lost contacts and disconnected from Cambodia around the world during the Killing Fields (1975-1979). Those evil secret Yuon/Vietnamese agents rushed into the jungles, forests or into Vietnam to change their Uniforms to be light green uniforms and came back to invade Cambodia and pretend to help rescue the innocent Khmer people or victims and children from Pol Pot. Then Pol Pot and Khmer Rouges soldiers were accused as the scapegoats as the killers that killed their Khmer/Cambodian people instead. Yes, evil Hanoi leaders and secret Yuon/Vietnamese agents are such smart asses who lied to the United Nations that helped rescue Khmer people from Pol Pot of the Killing Fields. Yes,those evil Yuon/Vietnamese agents were with Khmer Vietminh (communist bastards like Heng Samrin, Chea Sim, Hun Sen, etc). No, You know Vietnamese thieves and folks who tried to steal Cambodian territory, water, natural resources, islands are very bad people on the planet.
