Protection required for asylum seekers from Vietnam

ក្នុងពេល ថ្មីៗ នេះ មានជនជាតិ ដើម ភាគតិច រាប់សិប គ្រួសារ ដែលរត់មក ពីប្រទេស វៀតណាម ដើម្បី សុំសិទ្ធិ ជ្រកកោន នៅប្រទេស កម្ពុជា តែ ពួកគេ, ត្រូវ បានអាជ្ញាធរ ខ្មែរ ចាប់ខ្លួន, ហើយបញ្ជូន ដោយបង្ខំ ទៅប្រទេស វៀតណាមវិញ ឬក៏កំពុង តែ ប្រឈមមុខ នឹងការ គំរាមបញ្ជូន ទៅវិញ។  អ្នក ដែលត្រូវ គេ បញ្ជូនទៅវិញ នោះ តែងតែ រងទណ្ឌកម្ម ពីសំណាក់ អាជ្ញាធរ វៀតណាម។  ការស្វែងរក ទំនាក់ទំនង ល្អ ជាមួយ ប្រទេស ជិតខាង ជាការមួយ សំខាន់ហើយ។  តែ សំខាន់ ជាងនេះ ទៅទៀត គឺ ការគោរព សិទ្ធិមនុស្ស ទាំង នៅប្រទេស កម្ពុជា ទាំង នៅប្រទេស ជិតខាង។  ដូច្នេះ  ប្រទេស កម្ពុជា ត្រូវតែ ជួយជន ភៀសខ្លួន ដែលមក សុំសិទ្ធ ជ្រកកោន ជាបណ្តោះអាសន្ន នៅលើ ទឹកដី របស់យើង, ហើយ ជួយសម្រួល ឲ្យអ្នក ទាំងនោះ អាច សុំសិទ្ធ ជ្រកកោន ជាស្ថាពរ នៅប្រទេស ទី៣ ណាមួយ ដូចជា សហរដ្ឋ អាមេរិក, បារាំង, និងអូស្ត្រាលី។

Over the last few months, dozens of asylum seekers from Vietnam have been forcibly sent back by the Cambodian authorities to their home country where they face severe punishment. It is important to seek good relations with neighbouring countries, but it is more important to ensure the respect for human rights in the whole region. Cambodia must help those asylum seekers find -- through the United Nations -- a permanent home in a third country and, in the meantime, provide them with assistance and protection.
