ASSOCIATION FOR DEMOCRACY IN CAMBODIA

Dear Compatriots and Friends,

I have the honour of announcing today my decision to establish the Association for Democracy in Cambodia.

As I am no longer a member of any political party, and have no political role or function, I am now free from all partisan constraints and connections.

Because I wish to continue to help and serve my beloved Cambodia, I believe it is my duty to use my newly found liberty and independence to rally Cambodians towards the goal of national unity based on democracy.

National unity is necessary to resolve the current crisis and ensure the survival of Cambodia. Only democracy will allow all Cambodians to be heard, to respect one another and to work together to defend the fundamental interests of their country, and to ensure economic and social progress.

An essential course of action to meet this goal is to respect the Paris Accords of 1991.

This is the spirit in which The Association for Democracy in Cambodia is born and will operate with and through you.

I call on Cambodians from all walks of life, whether in Cambodia or abroad, whatever their political affiliation or preference, to join this Association, which has as its sole aim the unity of Cambodians on the basis of real democracy, the only guarantee of human rights, of the rule of law and of good governance.

All those who want to join the Association can keep their existing political affiliation as our Association will not support, or oppose, any political party. It will only support universal democratic principles, which it will strive to see implemented in political and daily life. Concretely, it will support and encourage initiatives and actions of all political parties which strengthen democracy in Cambodia.

The association will have its headquarters in Paris and will be governed by French law, as it will also include among its members friends of Cambodia of all nationalities who wish to show their compassion for our people and support their peaceful struggle for democracy.

Understand one thing - Theary Seng couldn't care less about this blog T2P because she simply uses it as data reference from her facebook. Her audience is over there on her Facebook, not here. She is leaving it all up to -DrGunzet- to trash Khmer race here. And you all are supposed to be smart enough to have figured out the true identity of that -DrGunzet- already by now. Be smart, be vigilant, be brave. Good luck to the Khmer people. God save Cambodia!!!

In statements filed on September 1 that were made available this week, the company [Chevron] questions whether Rainsy will actually appeal his defamation conviction. It also criticises him for telling local media that he would not do so, while then claiming to the company at the end of August that the filing of an appeal was imminent.

That's news since September 1st. I would like to read what Scam Rainsy would reply. Man, he is so stupid, making lying statements to be caught easily off-guard. That's why Mr. Hun Sen easily played him and got him prosecuted.
