Beyoncé beams in new holiday snaps from Cambodia... as she puts criticism over tiger cub picture behind her
Daily Mail |
Beyoncé
has been thoroughly enjoying her holiday in Southeast Asia in recent
days, sharing snaps from her time away with husband Jay Z and their
daughter Blue Ivy.
However,
it hasn't been all smooth sailing for the hitmaker, after she was
criticised by animal rights activists for riding an elephant and
appearing in an image featuring a tiger being fed by a bottle.
Despite
being scolded for her actions, the stunning star has put the
controversy behind her and continued to post sneak peek photos on her
Instagram page, giving fans a glimpse at her idyllic getaway.
The
flattering garment featured a low-cut neckline, giving a flash of her
ample cleavage, but it pretty much covered the rest of her famous
curves.
With
her hair worn in loose curls with a red bandana over her head, she also
donned a pair of round sunglasses for her carefully staged snapshots.
Beaming with joy: The star was clearly feeling happy and refreshed on her Southeast Asian holiday
Her body is a temple: Despite covering
up in a brightly patterned maxi dress, the 33-year-old gave a brief
glimpse of her cleavage in her personal snaps
And
it appears she shunned the use of a colourful filter on her
photographs, opting for the natural light and beauty of her surroundings
to work their magic.
As
ever, the social media savvy star shared a few other pictures on her
Instagram page, showing off the glorious sights from her vacation in
paradise.
While
many other stars have been sunning themselves on the beaches of
Barbados, Miami and Dubai over the Christmas and New Year period, it
appears Beyonce, Jay and Blue Ivy have been having more of a cultural,
sight-seeing and activity-filled trip.
Inside view: The social media savvy star also shared glances from inside another temple on her trip
Stunning views: And she made sure to share pictures of the natural side of Cambodia
However,
the famous family found themselves at the centre of an animal rights
storm after a fansite shared pictures of Beyoncé riding an elephant, and
another of the three of them posing with a tiger cub.
The
latter picture revealed the pop duo's little girl wearing a crown and
sitting next to the small animal with her parents next to her, while
someone off-camera fed the cat from a milk bottle.
World
Animal Protection's Dr Jan Schmidt-Burbach said tigers used for these
photos are often crammed into tiny cages or chained to the floor for
long periods.
'Their health and well-being should not be sacrificed for a photo opportunity,' Dr Schmidt-Burbach said.
'When you look behind the scenes, holiday snaps like these support an industry that relies on animal cruelty.'
Pic that caused a storm: Animal
activists hit out at Beyoncé after the superstar and her family posed
for a photo with a baby tiger
Dr Schmidt-Burbach added that tigers are forcibly removed from their mothers to be fed artificially by tourists.
'All
in all a far cry from their natural lives in the wild. But this sordid
side of tourism is conveniently hidden from public view,' he said.
This
comes after tourism company Intrepid Travel slammed Beyoncé on Twitter
after she was pictured riding on an elephant in late December.

ReplyDeleteThe freaking author 'appears to be' unsure of everything he/she writes then?
Yep Yep! Had it been anything Viet/YUON, the author would have come out and say it.
